[from JCH]
With only seven voting, here are the compiled votes for February for
the top 11 poets. Please note this month is tabulated differently. Once
I've accorded the best of each poet, and I've run out of contending poets,
I will start over again until I have the top 11 poems. So there just might
be more credit given one, two, or more poets for more than one poem
of theirs.
54 points for MAH's splendid, Base Camp equaling 10 points in the contest
combined with his 1 point from last month totals 11 points
34 points for MSS's wonderful, Torn Pages equaling 9 points in the contest
combined with his 8 points from last month totals 17 points
24 points for TEW's highly evoking, Tenured equaling 8 points in the...
combined with his 5 points from last month totals 13 points
22 points for Terry's excellent, At the Self-Defense Class for Ladies (7 pts.)
combined with her 91/2 from last month 16.5 points
20 points for Cheyenne's, accomplished, To Write Like Poe, for 6 points
combined with her 91/2 from last month 15.5 points
13.5 points for Duane's solid, Gardener equaling 5 points for the month
combined with his 6 points from last month 11 points
13 points each for Dellena (The Gloved One) and Lora (Ghost Winds)
splitting seventh and eighth places. (3.5 points each)
combined with 6 points from last month for
Lora 9.5 points
combined with 4 points from last month for
Dellena 7.5 points
23 points for TEW's, Life's Sentence for over-run points (2) pushing total score to 15 points
17 points for MSS's, Utopia for 1 over-run pointpushing total score to 18 points
Mr. Patton retains his ½ point from last month and I hope ½ point
he wins points this next month.
Anyone finding a mistake in these figures let me know and I'll go back over
my tabulations. I wanted to find a way to give poets some credit for multiples and this seemed fair...to allow for over-run points this way.
Incidentally, DeniMarie, you should know by now I have been banned from posting on the forum so if you want to address me please do so by email since otherwise I must impose on friends (as Ihave here) to answer you. |
