Outlook Express Instructions for adding a Signature to your outgoing e-mail messages

*Note: Do not have a new message open or the Tools option on your toolbar will not be display a Stationery option in your Tool Menu.

  1. On the word Tools from the menu at the top of your Outlook Express.
  2. Click on the word Options.
  3. Click on the Signatures button.
  4. Under the Signature Settings be sure to check the box "Add signatures to All outgoing messages."
  5. Under the Signatures section you may Add a new signature or use the default "Signature #1."
  6. Under the Edit Signature section, be sure that "TEXT" is selected and type or paste whatever signature you want into the box.
  7. Click the Apply button and then OK.
  8. Asignature will now be added to all of your outgoing messages.

Try these instructions if you have an older version of Outlook Express

*Note: Do not have a new message open or the Tools option on your toolbar will not be display a Stationery option in your Tool Menu.

  1. On the Tools menu of Outlook Express, click Stationery.
  2. On the Mail tab, Click the signature button and in the new window 'checkmark' the signature option - "include in outgoing mail messages".
  3. Click the 'text' option and  type in that block  whatever signature information you wish to be added to all of your outgoing messages. Click apply and then OK and wa-la - a signature will be added to all outgoing messages.
