I want to take this opportunity to tell you, Chris, what a marvelous job you are doing. I go to your site every morning, once or twice during the day, and again at the close of my evenings. At first I was uncomfortable with the critiquing system. I have gotten use to it, and I think I will become a better writer because of it. Chris, This site is a masterpiece in progress. It must be very satisfying for you to see this site unfold before your eyes into something beyond your wildest imaginatioon just because of the love of doing it and wanting the best place for the poets of the world to come to and share. Keep working on it one day at a time, one step at at ime and it will continue to grow even more. This is the one way successes are built. I came to the poetic link less than 4 weeks ago. In that time I have made new friends, spend countless hours enjoying the work of people from all over the world, and most importantly I have learned new things about myself as I revolve again and again through the cycle of writing, exposing, accepting, and returning. If that doesn't make sense, just step into this process and you will understand. I have never felt more at home. RMH

Chris, I wonder if you have any clue what a great service this site is to poets. It is the only site like it that I can find. It amazes me how you have set this up. Dear Chris: Thanks for your letter and for asking my advice. I like your site in it's present state, the best of any site I have gone to. I think it offers a great opportunity to be published and quickly. Obviously, from the way your published poems have grown each month, many others feel that way too. I am really enjoying reading all the poems you have published and the diverse methods of writing. I'm really glad you have perservered and I'm sure it will continue to grow. I did send the name of your site to several people who publish my work in their magazines, in hopes that they would add your name to their list of potential publishers, but so far I have not seen it appear. Sometimes it takes many months before they respond, so I will continue to do this. I know it must be very hard for you to hang on and pay your expenses every month. Without an advertising budget, it's hard to get word of your site out, beyond the word of mouth advertising, your submitters do. Sorry I can't be of more help. I'll keep thinking about it though and maybe an idea will present itself. Good luck and hope you can hang in there. I think eventually, you'll become very popular. The personal touch of individual response is great and your comments must be welcome to all. Many publishers don't ever comment, even when they publish a piece of work. Best wishes Betty Hebert
