BLACK FEET Black feet Bruised and Blistered From walkin these streets This life that has enslaved me to be like the rest To work daily for my bread To always struggle to get ahead When in fact I walk that same path I walk down the same road, and burn my feet on the same hot black asphalt, Over and over again, just as any other My only imprisonment is my own cell My twisted hell That I created Debated Against Daily Mind that sees in only shades of black Things that I lack And trod back To fix my past But can’t find that path It’s gone And so long For that twisted fate Never to find my soul mate Surrounded by much too much hate Close the gate And lock it Throw away the key And stop it Block it And dream back To the days when things were relaxed Only worries were my cabbage patch And now I dread that That future Unrated And how long it lasts Shortly To be faded Migrated To the promise land Of soul command One demand That goes undemanded, Sure I landed On another planet With no apes And no escapes No talking locks No tall tables and no key No tears to float away thee And no empty promises for a later day No stress No guests No white rabbit runnin away late No reason to hesitate No tweetle dee and tweetle dumb Just emptiness that I succumb And undone I have always been There is no end To this misery That contains me And claims me For eternity Going around infinity And coming back again No new ground Sound The same And my brain Is yet to remain Permanently sane No instead My black feet stay planted To this planet that I landed And stand it I can’t But must Because no one hears me fuss Or cry No one sees me try And while this life is suppose to be lived for me Its others I constantly strive to make happy And if not, then I’m selfish Dismiss Negative thoughts Bought A one way ticket And there’s no coming back See what I lack And hack it back to me Because I already seen The shit that this crazy world does to me Let it be And try to live freely Barely Breathin Releavin And heavin Leavin Only behind what isn’t necessary To bury Me Let loose like the seven seas No envy Lend me Your hand To help me See It was that easy But didn’t seem to be And didn’t think you complete me But just being there Show you care Be unaware Of those surroundings that surround us And separately bound us To our own tree With no leaves Because its already dead Gun aimed at my head And cocked No safety lock No one to block Out the bullshit That drifts Like heavy snow That seems to blow, Only when you can’t take no more And yet I am suppose to walk on Conquer this land And move on To the next Un-vexed And connected Never rejected Just restless And often helpless I need ruby red slippers To tap together 3xs and be home My luck, I’m stuck In a bad zone Where I roam Alone No help With no sleep And a body that’s more than hungry Lunge me Under water And out to oceans With legs that are tired And fists that are angry And will no longer carry thee Silently Floating Down under and taking in reality that drowns me Hounds me and haunts Taunts The never ending circle that continues to be tangled Mangled Hanging on to nothing Fighting for something Light to come take me Beyond oblivion And back to sanity Worlds around me That will be Forever seen And Finally I see the thousand truths that all the time sat in front of me! |
