RAINBOW DAYS

A kaleidoscope of colors Paint the days throughout the years, As we travel down the road of life Strewn with happiness and tears.   God gave us all emotions to enliven all our days, They color all our moments In a multitiude of ways. The COLORS of the rainbow Intersperse hours, days, and weeks, With emotions that are vivid Forming valleys and high peaks.  The RED of anger and of passion Runs sporadic through our days, Anger flares just like a torch, Passion comes in waves. The ORANGE days are blended  With emotions of the rest, Sometimes I think the orange days Are among the very best. YELLOW are the sunshine days Filled with energy to spare, They are days to share with family, Our commitment, love and care. Peaceful are the days Drawn with the color GREEN, Times of quiet meditation One can only call serene. Regretful days of melancholy Are of a subtle hue. Depression hovers everywhere On the days of BLUE. INDIGO, the shade of night Allows missdeeds and evil in, Then hides us in the shadows- Covers up our mortal sin. VIOLET is the color For questions and self doubt, Sometimes we're left to wonder What our life is all about. The RAINBOW COLORS guide us Along our chosen path, They motivate our daily lives Till all our days are past.
