Life Choice white lighted serenity beckons yet I hesitate a silken thread connects to a gently lined face blue eyes wire framed unbidden tears coarsing down furrowed cheeks dampening the yellow lined resting place of words not yet formed I spirit hold the time worn hands gently cradling a silent pen and realize my work is not complete I return to the frantically working gloved hands and knitted brows above masked faces and embrace life |
