WISHING WELL (For Marcia)

While the penny falls quick to the water I make my wish then hear it land Splashing quick into the darkness Heartfelt offering from my own hand Into the unknown chasm resting Near the change others have cast   Glittering glimpse of hope's reflection Wishing you well as I humbly pass Evening shadow of statue silent Little cherub with tiny bow Loosening grip upon the strand    to release the healing arrow
