The Watcher Silently she watches from her star-filled home. Her judgement, if any, obscured Hidden in the vastness that we have named infinity. She has seen the coming of the ages Our triumphs in all their glory Our failure and all its' tears. Times of war and bloodshed And still fewer times of peace. She shines in our darkest hour A symbol of hope, a beacon of light keeping her eternal vigil As she watches endless nights. If you dare to gaze at her As closely as she has watched You will see that she weeps in silence, Withholding her judgement still. |
