Aubade

On the shoal, I sing the stars from my soul. Sun's arc done, comes the rise, then the roll of bolts of tunes and runes for com-pline-time. Waves lap, pulse in chord to the shore while froths of stars smirk at my mere song as clear time is brief like my rhyme. Darkness is long on the reef. I do not seek lethe but more taut truth than the teal dusk and wine mist lend. Sea, stars, strand grant me no ease. With dawn, streams of soft light might spawn and spark my heart to pen a poem of Zen-sheen, a reel of sun-spill. Feeling at peace, I praise the  day that, for all eyes,  will rise rose-rayed in the east.
