Finally they meet (again)

And through the blinding snowstorm There stood a man thinking, “what have I got to lose?” He bent down and put his mukluked feet Into a pair of snow shoes He thought of his love so fair Away in that far off land He knew he had to find her  And offer her his hand He trudged for many a mile Looking for a sign His compass was a frozen And his eyes almost blind He went up one crevasse, and across thin ice His true love bore him on He searched the Arctic tundra All day and night 'til it was dawn Through eyes slit with frozen snow And his breath in frosty icicles He spotted something in the distance Finding her would be a miracle And there it was the cabin green The big purple door bade him hello In the window there was a menorah As he stamped off the frozen snow Suddenly the door flew open, a reindeer flew past  And with it a bright red nose went He thought he heard it laughing From out side he knew the petaled rose scent Inside the Christmas tree bade him welcome She stood there in her creamy buckskin dress She snapped a picture of him with her Minolta Then drew her body to him - she did press The tree was all-aglow with lights of all colors And the Menorah beside it did shine They locked their lips together, then whispered “Here’s to peace in our time” SEASON'S GREETINGS TO EVERYONE

Additional Notes:
This is just a fun piece, and a continuing saga. Please note that I have taken a lot of "poetic licence!"
