UNTAMED SORROW

Weak and weary, tourcherd eyes Seethed sorrow from her soul They seemed to penetrate my mind Comandeering all control They bore a pit of misery so deep within my heart For just one beat I lost myself, could not tell us apart I saw the world of agony splayed churning at her feet At once I knew she hadn't lived forever in defeat A visioned child so beautiful A man so tall and proud Then in the next split second I saw them bathed in shroud They met him at the restaurant, his day at work ran long They ate their meal and headed home, foreboding growing strong Screeching tires, blinding lights Instant death Reality She raged to God to right this wrong He stood fast Insanity My body seized most violently As she withdrew from me I lay half-lifeless on the ground Weeping unashamedly
