Bethlehem

A lone, brilliant star in the dark, silent night Lit the face of the newborn with glorious light. Shimmering an aura of unbounded love, This babe brought down angels to earth from above. Silence cracked open with heavenly singing Of choirs and choruses of bells sweetly bringing That greatest of good news to all men on earth. All were equally blessed by the infant king's birth; Poor shepherds who left sheep in fields unattended, Rich wise men from far whose journey had ended. Still kneeling, as centuries pass by this moment in space, Majestic mosaic, those few, who first saw His face.
