Longing

I long for….  blue sky breezes  to waft across my sun warmed skin Sunshine melodies playing in the background Leafy whispers in my ear at night I long for…..  a sylph like kiss  on my patient mouth an arm strong as an elm to lift my heart spirit a touch like breath on my body  I long for…..  the one who will come  with a honest twinkle in their eye with no velvety lies upon their lips who is unafraid and open  as the orangey purple Montana sky  I long to…..  share the chimes of laughter To clasp hands together As we dig our toes in  the rainbow dampened sand To stare with loving eyes into the depths of our souls Knowing we will follow The Spring flowered lane…… we two forever Entwined.   I long to welcome you… with arms wide as an open sea Are you waiting in the corridor? in a grassy covered glen? walking down a peopled street? On a bus? in a shop sipping hazelnut coffee? It’s been my choice,  it seems eons  to walk the world solely but now…. I long to be………not alone any longer.
