A Hope And A Prayer

There is a great deal of grand elegance in this world, yet it is ignored, and somehow forgotten everyday as the headlines read: ”WAR IMMINENT!” Surely a sky that snows, and shines light so bright, sparkles with magic  in the eve of night, cannot, should not, be mirrored with blood, filled with the haze of man’s purple rage. Throughout valleys so low and mountains so high, please Lord let us keep a clear blue sky. Remind us each day of paths we must stay; from your book let us not go astray. Presidents and leaders, kings and queens, we implore you, please, quell your attack, our world must have peace; from bondage and suffering we must have release. No matter your faith no matter your belief, our journey through life are roads we must ponder. What God has put together let no man put asunder.

Additional Notes:
After reading the Sunday paper one day in January, 2003, which is something I am becoming more reluctant to do, I offer you this, my personal view.
