Mountains

Smiles stream across my face  laughter drips sweet tears upon my fingers I will hide no more behind bitter memories  that arose mountain tall in the ranges of my mind. You came along and trickled hope into my life Your soothing waters bathed my battered psyche Simple words and praises flooded thru valleys Eroding brutal boulders and fragmenting jagged peaks. Small drops of your love formed a mighty river You swept all vestiges of sorrow from fertile land Washed potent regrets across deserted soils To be lost in the vacuous abyss of the sea. I stand before you immersed in your love Refreshed and renewed; life restored My soul sings your praises Do not doubt your worth my love… For you can move mountains!

Additional Notes:
For Joe… Who loves me! I wrote this last night – chasing away writers block – and I wanted some feedback before I sent it to Joe. Title suggestions would be welcome too. Thank you, Patti
