Soon to be forgotten

As I lay upon this glorious land I see a place of freedom Bluest of oceans Calmest of winds Heaven like beauty  Just steps away But they are soon to be forgotten The skies turn gray Overcome with fear Then the tide sets in taking away the land But along with the awaking of the sun They are soon to be forgotten Pink & orange skies Soon fade into blue With light streaks of clouds Dancing upon the horizon Sails set at sea Not knowing their direction Are guided by fate Birds gracefully soar toward the setting sun Suddenly they became weary with time But they are soon to be forgotten The ocean and sky vanish into a stage of darkness Only to be awakened by dawn The sun will rise ,and the moon will fade Welcoming shimmery beams of light  Across the sky  This was paradise For it will never be forgotten
