When One Becomes A Parent

When one becomes a parent A new life takes place, Unable to forget When you first saw their prescious face. A joy more astounding, Still you're confused and scared, A new life has arrived Suddenly you feel unprepared. There's no class to teach, No manual to read For knowledge you think, Will help you succeed. The first touch of your child Instantly releases all doubts That's when you've experienced, What unconditional love is all about. No longer should you question, Your purpose in life When a child is conceived, There's no greater sacrifice. Security to some, May mean money and success, As a parent I've looked deeper Taking this chance to progress. I'll never promise wealth, It's a luxury I can't give I can offer devotion, And a better life for you to live. A parent I am, But a friend I'll be Any problems you face, Know you can count on me
