Dream Complete I am blushing in the shadow of night, Watching you, feeling you, Seeing you in the darkness of light. A tear runs down my cheek, My dream is near complete. We came from a world of make believe, Where knights and queens lived In ice castles in the sky. I am part of your soul, A shadow, nevermore. When I read the words wrote By masters of the scroll, I ache, cannot find, cannot believe What surely I must see. How quiet you are. I dare not wake the vision of my life, For fear the dream will disappear, From my brain, from my heart, From all my world You must not depart. When the softness of the dawn Covers you with it's mist, I must enlist words I write, Images I can trust. I feel so blessed. When you wake sweet dreamer, Fill my life once again. Hear me when I say, Please listen when I pray, We two are as one. |
