scarlet

darkness, light dusk, dawn; echoes of destruction and a riblad lusty depth. heartache, heartbreak; a jester's tears coloured blood- red inside my head, flowing in my views my veins. shadows lurking flowing prowling cats hunting the light, the love. exuberance, lethargy. the twist of fate and life's cruel joke; a siren song can you still say that you love me? ache. locked in a cage, living in darkness. the shade has been lifted only to see the sun; a scarlet sky to match her hair. flames ripple through blackness as she comes back to life through similarity; and the music sounds like heaven. at a loss for words. all the things i put away rushing through me, filling me; sating my need my hunger. essential as my first breath, surrounding me. i can breathe i can rest; having just reached the point of no turning back.

Additional Notes:
simply a piece of writing that came out as a stream of random thought. it's meant to be choppy and sort of strange to reflect the mood i was in when it came out. just thought it would be nice to get some input on it. :>
