Depends

A blue adult diaper peeked from under the shiny white sheets My eyes flickered nervously as my brain absorbed the sight Branch-like bones covered with thin sallow skin exited the diaper I quickly pulled the blankets to protect his privacy and my mind Adult diapers I thought they were only comedic props Adult diapers What are they doing on my father? Cherry flavored Morphine stood guard amidst gauze and syringes I floated and spun and flipped in this surreal and stark maelstrom Brittle brown arms shivered and grasped at unseen angels I made myself comfortable on the death bed and melted A portable commode waited patiently at the foot of the bed Reality breathed on me and I returned to the moment A shrunken face looked at me and beyond me I wanted to cry and I wanted to run but I finally understood Adult diapers The stuff of sophomoric jokes Adult diapers Will I wear them some day?
