Breakfast

I was startled by a crow This morning as I walked. He swooped down Out of the sunrise Disturbing my daydream. Lighting on the  Empty pavement He snatched up a Frito And eyed me warily. “Don’t worry” I laughed As he danced away, “I don’t eat those anymore. You better watch Your cholesterol."
