The Rose That Will Always Grow From Concrete

Strange thunders surround my head you are the satyr of this pulluted land The trees of mine have been uprooted a drainless shower of light hasn't been discovered yet You hover above me floating wildly and the mournful sounds of your heart pounding Was I even in your sights at all? You tore off my mask and threw it against the wall Now the clothes of Eros have been put back on his once smiling face now turned to stone The arrows he once shot at you and I are gone now you've left my heart bruised and alone Yet I rejoice; and I rise as a rose through the cracks of concrete which I was unseen among the rushes thinking I'd be growing from vines or bushes Sometimes I feel as though hardships and a broken heart tells me I must die Like a sick Eagle looking to the sky but even to others I become obsolete yet I'll always rise above as the rose  from the cracks of concrete
