NEVER AGAIN ?

The black oven doors clanged for one last time The jackboots with their hobnails sounded no more The smoke stacks emitted smoke no more The putrid smell was emitted no more The fleas and the lice were no more The starvation to corpses was no longer The dehumanization of man was arrested The barbed wire was no longer a bar to freedom The beatings and the tortures had ceased The “Heil Hitler’s” were no longer heard Now, it’s 58 years later and, the hatred still abounds Anti-Semitism does not die! What price did they pay for their freedom? What has the world learned? Will more prayers help? (May 2nd is National Holocaust Memorial Day)
