The Day God Answered Our Prayers

Today was the day for Daddy's sale to rid of all farm life I have written of his stroke in detail and talked about his wife. The time to start was about nine thirty with storms and pouring rain The ground was soft with mud so dirty to sell it caused him pain. At eight o'clock flash floods we had afraid of ruining the sale Crashing thunder and lightening so bad I thought would spoil this tale. We prayed to God to help us through the sale we had today He turned the gray, cloudy skies to blue and kept the heat away. The rain poured down 'til time to start then stopped to make us smile The sun wasn't out 'til time for us to part cool and dry the four hour while. We didn't get too hot nor did we all get wet our prayers He answered well Saying a prayer, is one sure bet so lucky, I'm here to tell. Soon after the auction the sun came out the temperature rose to be hot God answered all our prayers, no doubt thinking pure luck, it's not. If all else fails, just turn to Him ask Him for some care The lights will never be so dim Just ask, He's always there. Charlotte Donovan
