The Persistence Of Memory (I laugh with Dali) Watching from the distant golden cliffs of Catalonia the sun shines it's warmth on the left side of my body shadowed by the salty breeze on my right Taking a ride across the blue seas that stalk me to the land of mesmerizing dreamscapes My eyes are paralyzed on the limp clocks continously ticking away time through the aurora The ants that furiously attack the decayed gold watch stay attent and continue to reign of grotesqueness A Pyrrhonism has come across me as the aliceinwonderlandic world takes my pupils and breaks them down into a fury of precision. The monstrous, fleshy creature that lay draped across the ground blinks his huge disturbing eye at me as if to tell me I am not dreaming. "Dali!", I shout as chills crawl throughout the deserts of my being The psychotic hallucination flawlessly stings through the pools of my cerebrum "I have gone mad!" I shout, raising my hands high above my head towards the bluish-yellow sky. He smiles as a tongue oozes from his nose like a fat snail...saying, "The difference between a madman and me is that I am not mad". The paranoiac-critical method lingers as his cultivating formula magnetically causes me to smile with him. |
