Sweet Youth Where Hast Thou Flown? The Forgotten Child was left behind With Sunset Tears she would never find Her River Rocks had all been found Her Paintbrush made no swishing sound There was a rainbow around the moon She mused one Sunday Afternoon Fallen into Shadow the colors faded With 9th Grade Maturity, she patiently waited When one becomes a Parent, childhood ends Pages Turn and adulthood begins It doesn’t Matter she said to the breeze Mr. Rogers makes children seem easy to please The Tender years were left behind She became a mother, Heart and Mind The Cradle has rocked now three more times  Her Little One(s) inspiring many rhymes The Forgotten Child has now been found In the joy of her family gathered around
