THE BOOK OF ALL SOULS

The book of a thousand words               written with the ink of love        and the light of all souls from the past.             Death fills the gaps of eternity          while love fills the heart that i own,            the only part i could lend and owe.              The first page hopes and dreams              for the rest of the long pages,            while the fantasy of loving hearts            shares the long lines of the second.                           Heaven was dressed in the third                and the angels of memories                     wrote and wrote                the gift of the so called heart             and the miracle which resides within,                  heaven is in our hearts,                  heaven is in our blood.                                  The fifth was a full moon                 with a dawn that came out                       of the bloom,             so beautiful and enchanting it was.                   The chariots of fire               guard the gates of the sixth               where love was held hostage              by the weeping moon in the sky                as it searched helplessly               for the lost rays of light,                    withheld beyond                the distant flashing stars.                The seventh had no mercy                    for the sad moon                 and the secret of love                  went to spread its wings                   all over the world,                  leaving behind sorrow                 in a heart aching rock.          On the eighth love began slowly to die,                      with no pride               in the cold heart of mankind,               wishing it could be beside                the longing rock up high,             slowly dwelling into an eclipse                  of darkness every month            in hope for the day love returns              to wherever the moons heart                     once existed.            The ninth didn't yet take part            but a question furiously starts                    to cry out loud               where will love prevail?                     in a rock               or in a human loving tale.
