lost path Its easy to loose one's way to find reasons not to care to believe in our justified reasoning and shut out the heart Its easy to forget neglect that which is known to put aside the lessons to refuse for now to grow But when we get past the undergrowth of self made lies misgivings and common thoughts we rise to see above All around in ever expanding wonder and light what was hidden from sight It is an old path trod through muddied waters littered with stones and Hearts along the way And as we put our feet to it it moves unhurried allowing Vision to take hold Everything is a step every act a commitment and in the end we are left with our memories and sweet and soft regret What would it take to walk the Sacred Path knowing life demands our spirit to sing and counts each note we choose to play |
