Afraid of the Dark All month I'm on top of things Working ever so hard Reading, critiquing Laughing with some Crying with others Now here we are The end of the month approaching The board is ready to shut down Already I begin to stumble and fall Why? Because I'm in the dark No longer do I see Who is here before Or after me Nor do I see The light outside my frame For three whole days I'm on my own And I'm afraid of the dark |
