The Hammer “You’re too old. It’s time to go.” “Go and enjoy your life.” Bullshit, bullshit, bullshit words Reverberate against my mind The words sticking in my craw like an egg to an un-greased fry pan. Lies and deceptions I was given an Ultimatum Go while the goings good You’re old You’re making mistakes More lies… Retire now or else… 4300 days With “Retire with dignity” ringing in my ears, I stepped out of the office into a new perspective.
