ALONE TOGETHER These things that crawl inside my mind, they leave me all alone. But when I see you at my side, I know it's a different alone. So through and through, if you are here, I know that we are standing, Alone together. You may not always know what to say, or what to feel, but you have, what it takes, what I need, and I know it's a different alone. Becuase you come down to where I'm at, even if you don't know the way, we are, alone together. And when I am on my rollercoaster, and feeling by myself, I remember what I have, and I know I'm not that alone. I see that I have comfort in your arms, and compassion in your heart. So when these times of trial come upon me, I now remember, We are ALONE TOGETHER |
