Identity Stakeout

Years of certainty and solidity Erased in but a thought. An era of innocence and naivety Brought to a bitter end. Young trusting eyes Now close afflicted. A timid acepting heart  Frozen intently. Haunting what-might-have-beens Creep the edges of a wondering existence. Feet swiftly chasing away  To desolation. When is the arrest of truth?
