Night Caress

fingers comb through sleep tangled tresses tactilely tracing a silken curved back framed in equally soft satin I nestle  closer to a warmth so comforting so needed so missed wishing to hold back the dawn when your familiar softness returns to the place of memories replaced by down filled dampened pillowcases of reality til the  night returns where once again I spend cherished hours holding thoughts of you
