No Need To Say I Love You

You do not need to say I love you it is in the way you brush my hair          at start of day It is in the words you read to me of Browning, Keats, and Emily because my eyes no longer see It is in the scent of lilac bloom you bring in bunches to my room the way you paint the harvest moon the wide-eyed owl who comes to croon every night outside my room It is in the way you touch my cheek when you think I'm deep in sleep or when I'm in my deepest pain and I softly call your name I feel your love, your deepest fears when for my pain your eyes spill tears.
