Walking The Line I thought about uniqueness When I heard that John was gone I thought about my father too Another towering one I thought about their aging And how their bodies failed I thought about their agelessness And spirits that prevailed I thought about complexities Dichotomies of men I thought about how we’ll not see The likes of them again |
