The Rescue Of Tony Bullimore

The Rescue Of Tony Bullimore The alert went out over the airways, two yachts were missing at sea. They called in the navy and airforce, it wasn’t known where they could be. The airforce sent out the Orion, they needed the men all on hand. To search out the great southern ocean, the navy were put in command. They sent in their frigate named Adelaide, the Orion was searching about. It was feared the two men had perished, their time surely must have run out. The searchers were not to be daunted, it was hoped that the men would survive Both yachts were found where they floundered, it appeared there was one man alive The navy soon gave their position, the helicopter went in at full flight  They plucked from the life raft a Frenchman, so relieved that the man was alright. They put him on board the boat Adelaide, they then went on to search and to find. After four days locked in an air pocket, the Englishman living on time. There was no time to spare or be wasted, as they got near the upturned wrecked yacht. They hoped for a miracle to happen, as the Adelaide, with crew neared the spot. All of a sudden they saw it, the head of the sailor popped up. Out of the water to greet them, "HE’S ALIVE!, hurry, pick the man up" They hauled him to safety all shouting, their rescue work now was complete. There is no one quite like the servicemen when they’re needed they’re in with two feet. They berthed at our fair port, Fremantle where thousands were waiting to greet, The crewmen who carried out the rescue, there are no finer men you could meet Thelma Claydon   c

Additional Notes:
This is about the rescue of the two yachtsmen, who were lucky to be found alive, they caused many people a lot of distress worrying about them but thank goodness it all ended up alright, thanks to our servicemen
