Many Wishes

The quite relentless flow of days   Go marching on and nothing stays   Exactly as it is right now.   I'd like to slow the tide somehow.   There is so much I plan to do.   The hours seeming far too few.   Although I try to make them be   Productive, still it seems to me   The day is done and there are still   So many wishes left to fill,   But in the path of such a force   As moving time, I am of course,   A speck of flotsam, carried on   Till my tomorrows are all gone.
