The Goodbye

I looked into your eyes, as we said our goodbyes, Each of us trying to keep dry eyes… I saw in them you and me. Could not believe all the love I could see. My heart was aching...already missing you so. The tears were beginning to flow. Oh please don't let me start... I already knew you had captured my heart. It was no longer free...you now had the lock and the key. All there will ever be is just you and me. I know with absolute certainty, I will love you for eternity.
