All The Days of My Lies Day one was easy, actually ending on day one. Day two was finished on day six, day three was a fifteen-minute opus completed on, uh, day four. Day five ran ‘til day seventeen, took two days to write, meanwhile days two and three were revised. Here I am, writing day seven, the calendar says “February 21st”, and I’m still editing days four and six! Well, at least I’m still trying. If days eight and nine don’t come any quicker it will be March 7th before I reach day ten! Did anyone else cheat? |
Additional Notes:
The assignment, write 10 poems in ten days: The writer's group met on March 7th. I only got 8 poems, as days 9 and 10 are still being written. It was fun though, and served to get my creative juices moving.
