| The Cure Face to face. Two tunnels growing shorter As the light of us shines squinting between. The stars do shine bright In a pupil’s dark night. Blinking through damp horizons. The pitter-patter pokes the skin, Glistening under a sun’s warm breath And her cheeks blossomed roses. And they met across the sky. A rainbow from eye to eye The crimson butterfly spreads its wings Fly, bluebird, fly. |
