Life As I Know It

The sea of tranquility lies just off my beach Placid and inviting (today) the water is flat and quiet Nary a wave to carry any surfer while across the way is a canvas painted in muted hues of blues and greys The mountain peaks hidden by a mantle of mist rising from the water Everything appears shrouded in mystery Soon, the Orcas will be coming and then perhaps, all hell will break loose Blowholes will spout everywhere and the chase will begin ...the salmon are headed home as the whale watchers look in revele

Additional Notes:
Orcas are commonly known as killer whales. They are black and white in colour. This is the time for the salmon to spawn.
