THERE ARE THOSE. . .

Some say... You are dead, Lord Others say... You don't exist There are even those who say... You are an overplayed hero of a long remembered novel. One whom people chose as an excuse for their weakness    They say all this, Lord and more. . . And. . .  There are those who listen. . . . . and believe them I know You're not dead, Lord... You do live and exist You  have never been  an excuse for mans frailties You are more than any hero could ever be Lord of man. . . if man choses You are the only right choice the only truth in the universe Yet, there are those who do not understand and do not believe Taking pride in thinking  they have better answers than You, Lord © 1976 Revised © 6-9-2000  by Donna Saulsman Friedrichs
