" Yet "

((( Pretty please, scroll down to *additional notes* before reading this,,,`cause...just cause, ok :] ))) Mmm' lick your lips with me  after you say the word "yet"          yet don't you just love  the way that feels the way it rolls with curve the way it tickles with tongue  the way the stress of the 't' parts your lips        indefinitely        stretching  stretching from your body  as if awakening from a dream yet more than a dream a dream in which I remember seeing a woman I think that she was me but I'm not so sure  for this woman with dark circling eyes had known sadness but she said that had lived not there yet in this dream she arose from the print of barren sheets  the ones her tears had stained for far too long to walk beside a man who offered her no love at all yet he touched her perfect body with his mind and she fell falling falling  not in love but flirting with the forces of fate she fell feet first without fear of the forks found in front of her how sharp they might be  how long they might be and she didn't even look to see if her own initials were inscribed there she just threw her head back freely into the wind and let the breeze call to her  tossing her hair with ease letting it fall          fall where it may falling falling  not astray but in perfect place it landed one foot in front of the other stepping forth she felt freedom beneath her feet alight with twinkle she knew which lane to travel but where it led she did not know and it did not matter she just had to follow it for it was fate and fate was he and he had called her spreading wings she was carried far away from where she dwelt and she left behind that sadness the one she denied she ever felt without worry of world  that beneath her she fell feet first  falling falling  beside a lucid lake filled with tranquility not vanity or insanity for those words were not allowed the tiny pebbles beside the lake said that they were not allowed then as if told to do so she reached down to pick up one of those pebbles and she slipped it from her hand into the lake before her rippling the surface of depths unknown she watched it  its spread of wave  waves calming both lake and she with tranquility not vanity or insanity just peace       the sweet release of peace      such peace it brought that she looked down into the water where she had never dared look before afraid that she might see herself she smiled and the lake smiled back with her finally something smiled back and in that smile she saw a glimmer not of hope just a glimmer of what was yet to come if only she would put one foot forth in a leap  a leap of faith hoping stepping falling into that cold lake before her wet with coolness it chilled her body yet at the same time it warmed her soul  and then all at once like an angel's wing from heaven it fell falling just for her falling beside her a single leaf drifting in the wind fell she leaned over and picked it up its energy compelled her to turn it over and when she did the veins on the back of the leaf spelled out a word she had long since wanted to see long since waited to see what word did these letters spell it spelled with perfect curve          L -O- V- E  with this in hand she knew that he stood not beside her but behind her this time yet once again he only entered her body with his mind touching her soul yet touching her so much but it left him feeling like a fool for he judged himself too hard too harshly thinking about the leaves he had piled up elsewhere yet this was not to be his judgement the winds of fate had called him too he was not a joker here with jingle bell hat and floppy boots he too had been called with tranquility not vanity or insanity yet he did not understand this because there were so many clouds not clouds in the sky for this was as clear as a summer day those clouds were in his mind there were so many clouds that it hurt it hurt him to think and          and      he left but he left a trail of tears as if on purpose thinking come some tomorrow he will follow that trail he left behind  she feels this, she knows this, she hopes he will yet not wanting to watch him walk away not ready to believe that this was maybe a dream after all she turned around and let that leaf fall back into the water from where it came and as she did this she cupped her hand into its soft flow, sipping it slowly she tasted pureness stirred to sweet by the gentle breeze blowing overhead blowing that branch that single limb from which that single leaf had fallen  though that leaf was small compared to the greatness it brought  it whispered strongly like the weeps of a willow  listening closely she heard the call of fate again falling  falling into her ear  the right one not the left one   not the wrong one it was the right one it told her a tale  a tale of righteousness for when she had drank from the water of life she had merely tasted merely sampled for the full flavor was    yet     yet  to come temperance ~ temperance it said temperance is the key that unlocks doors it makes it safe  it makes it comfortable it's temptation without complication it's overfills in moderation where the fall of tears leave a path of safe return not drowning the lake not filling it with salt that corrodes with rust  but polishing the metal so that the key of temperance can slide into locks once forbidden but forbidden not within the lake of temperance  she smiles and the lake reflects her smile once again and that smile feels good  she's getting used to feeling good and doesn't want it to stop either and she knows that it won't for yet is yet to come and one day she knows that he will stand  not beside her  not behind her but within her  and she will fall into his arms  falling falling not falling in love just  falling with moderation into a place where she's not just touched with his mind this time but with                    "never-mind" so she waits on yet to come  not obsessively but patiently patient because she knows that yet never means right now  nevertheless yet  does not mean never  either it simply means that it just hasn't happened again "Yet"

Additional Notes:
This is a really LONGGGGGGGGGGGGGG poem of mine and it is written without rhyme and is the first poem I ever read to a public crowd,,one line in particular got a "whew with much awe in the air and at the end I got a stand up applause, the only one of the night...was most proud for a beginner. Initially, I wasn't going to share this because of its length, but guys are pretty cool with length as long as the poem is intering so here goes. Okay, here's how I wrote this poem,I don't believe in Tarot cards, but these psychics keep on sending me things trying to get me to call `em for $1.99 per minute so they can tell me my future,,,like yeah right!,,,,I make my own destiny,,,,when and if fate calls my name,,,,anyway I opened one of their letters one day just for the heck of it and there were 4 tarot cards in there with numbers on the back of them..I put them in numerical order and dreamt up a poem and there you have it YET,,,Yet because that is what those psychics are claiming to tell you about Yet,,yet to come,,,,,,,,the cards were in this order (if I can remember)first there was an omen of fate:good fortune-some weird looking symbol resembling a leaf/tiny pebbles, the second was of two lovers whose naked bodies where joined together in an encircling hug of all extremities, thirdly was a joker with a jingle bell hat and floppy boots on, and the last one was the word temperance with a photo of a key. Anyway now you have the prelude of my poem,,,now you can see the origin of the poem when you read it....if you've read this far I hope you enjoy my poem, yet another fantasy!
