My Big Ginger Teddy

MY BIG GINGER TEDDY Santa came at Christmas with a lovely office chair, All wrapped up tight well out of sight Was a great big teddy bear. His hair was soft and ginger, so cuddly was he. He sat up in that chair so proud, His eyes looked straight at me. I’d never had a teddy bear when I was just a child, Then I had a huge big one at the age of sixty five. My husband bought the bear for me To save embarrassment. As I hugged and squeezed the teddys  In every shop we went. The tree was loaded up with gifts of shirts and sox and toys, Slippers, chairs and everything, But the bear brought me most joy, All eyes were on that teddy bear as I hugged him with delight, He cuddled up into my arms. He felt exactly right Written by his new mum
