GrandMemeres Love (First poem)

Innocent warm arms reach out for you eyes so radiant and blue Trusting the mirror of your soul Loving all that's good in you The warm young body presses against you You pray Dear Lord embrace this youth guide her-love her-protect her When I am gone no longer will this earthly body give her comfort May the spirit of all eternity of a Grandmothers love remain in her heart May the presence and all that is good Create in her what God willed  A life radiating the spirit of being a beatiful loving-caring-enduring woman who completes the circle

Hi Jo, There is no finer delicacy in the world then a grandmothers love and you have captured it perfectly in this lovely tribute. I am so glad you found and posted this first poem on TPL so we could all enjoy the warmth and feel the love that you feel as a grandmother for your grandchild and that grnadmothers everywhere can relate to. Hope you got to see those granddaughters on Thanksgiving and that you were blessed with all the love and warmth you've given them right back at ya! Blessing to you on this Weekend when we see blessings everywhere we look, Jennifer
