False Fire Alarm

Eyes as blue as summer pools  reflecting turquoise skies kindling that masks the truth and taunts me with your lies Lips as sweet as tangerines wrapped close in morning dew kindling hides the memories and speaks only well of you Through the pain I've learned the drill love is never as implied kindling is just facade in which trust and faith have died You see, kindling can spark a flame to torch a brilliant sight but if you count on it alone You'll be cold by morning light

Additional Notes:
Kindling...easily combustible material for starting a fire...needs to be said in three syllables to make the flow work
