Riding the Rails Leaving the station… the expanses vast… Clickety clack clickety clack… train's moving down… the railroad track… Pulling pushing the engine's afire… Linking cars one car to the other… An excursion runs from here to there… Clickety clack clickety clack… train's streaming down… the railroad track… Huffing puffing… counting out the hours… Clickety clack clickety clack train's humming down… the railroad track… Thrusting forward to the next town site… Locomotion's a somber existence… Wailing's whistle in the lonesome night… Clickety clack clickety clack… train's spinning down… the railroad track… Building speed to… handle the hurdles… Clickety clack clickety clack… train's pulling down... the railroad track… Thundering up the lofty mountain... An iron horse of yesterday's past… Toiling hard, transporting in motion… Clickety clack clickety clack… train's bumping down… the railroad track… The horn's warning... at railroad crossings... Clickity clack clickety clack… train's signals on… the railroad track… The engineer lets hoboes ride free… One way ticket to places unknown… The rhythm sound's the choo choo boogie… clickety clack clickety clack… train passing on… the railroad track. |
