Ancient Riddles

And when you drift to sleep at night Whose face comes to your mind? Whose eyes look on you warm and Calm the storm that holds you hostage? You sing in shades of blue but Laughter of a rainbow hue Spills from your smile Enigmas, ancient riddles You fit easily with these The solution not as simple as it seems Along the path of starlight A path one seldom sees Nightmares sometimes masquerade as dreams
