Hi, It's like the worlds in genocide today and nobody stops it. nobody cares enough to do something. We go on about the holocost and yet we let all this slaughter happen. I get so frustrated I could stomp up and down. People feel so helpless. Bush doesn't do a thing unless it propogates his interest. I'm so sad and sorry for the human race. Your voice needs to be heardk. More, I say, more. Lets do whatever we can to fight injustice. God bless the victims of these atrocities. And lets stop it! Dellena

Good 5/7/5...almost called you on the Rwanda until I realized it was 3 syllables. I think this would have been best without the title. Can the "Bush" statement be taken two ways? Thanks for this.

Hi Latorial, It's me again!! :-) A Haiku on offer this time and you are already aware of the fact that I find this form of poetry very intriguing and challenging. Once again, you have touched the sensitve roots of your identity 'from Rwanda, to the Bush, to America'. It is very true that in all these places, the community is still left wanting. Aboriginees in the Bush are still not at par with their white counterparts and in Rwanda, the situation is even worse. I believe, the situation in America (though not perfect) is better off than in most places thanks to the Civil Rights Movement. Take Care, Duane.

I am taking this as Haiku in form poet......5-7-5.....well done...... TV......when I moved to Tully we had no reception, did not see the news or play the tv for thirteen years, watched movies on tape though........still, the outside world of corruption, despair, and pain along with suffering did not venture into our home during the day or at night......read the papers and saw enough. Now we have a dish satellite and I still refrain from watching the news........wonder why....... Thanks for posting, sharing with us....God Bless, Claire

This piece evokes so much anger and sadness in me, as I'm sure was your intention for the reader. Well done, keep writing what needs to be written. Audrey -by the way, check out my poem 'letters' it has a similar theme to the last poem of yours I critiqued.
