Sine Waves

Sitting - All by itself on a  washed up tree looking forlorn, 100 yards away One lone Gull The sky had pillows The waves had crests The rocks were silent As if covered in velvet Silence – the sounds of silence Broken. I threw out an offering of  Stale bread. Suddenly as if on some secret signal 35 others appeared The Gulls were gulping and greedy, and ravenous, and when there was no more offerings They left, as suddenly as they appeared There was magic in the air From where?
